The Owner
     Chris George is a member of the American Farriers Association and is the owner of Foxhound Forge.  He is a graduate of the Oklahoma State Horseshoing School and has worked as a professional horseman in the industry for over the last 15 years. While most of his experience focuses on Hunters and Jumpers, Chris also has a strong background in shoeing Pacers, Trotters, Thoroughbreds, and Draft horses.
     He started working with horses at the age of 12 while living in the Northwest and has a multi-faceted background with horses including managerial and training experience.  Chris has sucessfully managed several farms, as well as run his own training business and has traveled extensively throughout the United States.
     Chris is eager to meet you and your horse as well as provide a practical resource for the both of you.

This is Rufus...he's the Foxhound at Foxhound Forge, as well as my travelling companion most days.  His main duties include giving big wet kisses, playing with little kids, looking cute, and hanging his head out of a moving shoeing rig!  He's pretty good at all of those, and we hope to possibly expand his job description someday.  :-)
